LEADERSHIP
Our Leadership Council is comprised of CEO’s from faith-based organizations that collaborated on our first event, Don’t Walk By, ten years ago. Moved by the Parable of the Good Samaritan, a compelling story about what it means to love one’s neighbor that was told by Jesus in the 1st Century and still resonates deeply in the 21st Century, these thoughtful leaders decided to collectively care for our neighbors on the street during the peak of New York’s brutal winter. The event has sparked a movement, and Rescue Alliance continues its innovative work through partnering with top agencies across the city to provide compassionate, comprehensive care leading to life transformation. Our faith is rooted in Jesus, which means we serve all people in need without discrimination. Our partner agencies and volunteers are people of all different faiths, or no faith at all. We come together to see a city where everyone belongs.
